Assembly TechnicianJob DescriptionThe Assembly Technician performs exterior finishing work on smaller RV trailers, completing mechanical and electrical installations using a variety of hand and power tools. This role focuses on precise assembly of doors, AC units, awnings, and related components, following blueprints, schematics, and production requirements to deliver high-quality finished trailers.Responsibilities
• Perform exterior finishing work on small RV trailers, ensuring all components are installed accurately and securely. • Install doors, AC units, awnings, and other mechanical assemblies on trailers using appropriate hand and power tools. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to complete assembly tasks according to specifications. • Use hand tools, power tools, and tape measures to perform precise measurements, cuts, and installations. • Work on an assembly line, contributing to efficient production flow and meeting daily output targets. • Perform mechanical assembly and general labor tasks required to complete trailer builds. • Handle basic electrical tasks, including routing and connecting wiring as directed by schematics. • Inspect completed work for quality, safety, and proper function, making adjustments as needed. • Maintain a clean and organized work station, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly. • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when operating tools and working around equipment. Work EnvironmentThis position is based in a manufacturing and production facility focused on assembling small RV trailers. Work is performed at a designated station on an assembly line, using a range of hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and other mechanical and electrical equipment. The environment is active and hands-on, requiring standing for extended periods, moving around the workstation, and handling various trailer components. Team members follow established safety procedures and work collaboratively to meet production goals. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Backus, MN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
