About this role

Job Title: Machine OperatorJob DescriptionJoin a rapidly-growing, innovative company dedicated to formulating and manufacturing spray products for cosmetics, personal care, and over-the-counter drug brands. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of production lines for cGMP regulated products. Responsibilities • Perform machine setup for efficient operation of packaging lines. • Ensure product change-overs are conducted according to SOP requirements. • Optimize time and resource allocation techniques within manufacturing specifications. • Maintain operational continuity by managing the flow of materials to and from the production area. • Possess knowledge of repairs, preventative maintenance, and daily support of packaging equipment. • Assist in troubleshooting production issues. • Understand cGMP compliance as it impacts production requirements. • Comply with regulations and safety issues governing aerosol filling operations. • Collaborate with Quality Control and Maintenance to achieve optimal results. • Maintain compliance with Fire Code, OSHA, DEP, and DOT regulations. Essential Skills • Minimum of two years’ experience in manufacturing related to filling, assembly, and packaging. • Technical degree or relevant background preferred. • Ability to operate packaging machinery including labelers and shrink bundlers. • Knowledge of cGMP requirements. • Understanding of OSHA requirements. • Familiarity with Hazardous Waste Materials. • Knowledge of DOT, DEP, Fire Code. • Experience with ERP systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with production, machine operation, and general labor. • Proficiency in machine operating, inspection, and using hand tools. • Ability to interpret blueprints and follow SOPs.
