Job Title: Solar ElectricianJob DescriptionThis role focuses on installing solar panels on new multi-family construction projects, with an emphasis on safe, efficient electrical work and high-quality workmanship in outdoor environments.Responsibilities
• Install solar panels on new multi-family residential construction, including rooftops and carports. • Perform wire management tasks to organize, secure, and route electrical wiring according to project specifications and safety standards. • Handle and position solar panels (“throwing panels”) safely and accurately during installation. • Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete solar and electrical installation tasks. • Install conduit and perform electrical wiring associated with solar panel systems. • Work on carport structures to mount and secure solar panels and related electrical components. • Apply fall protection practices and equipment to maintain a safe work site while working at heights. • Follow construction and production schedules to meet project timelines and quality requirements. • Collaborate with construction and electrical teams to ensure proper integration of solar systems into new builds. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in outdoor and changing weather conditions. Essential Skills
• Experience installing solar panels on new residential or multi-family construction. • Proficiency in electrical work related to solar installations, including conduit installation and wiring. • Ability to perform wire management, including routing, securing, and labeling electrical cables. • Skilled in the safe handling and positioning of solar panels during installation. • Competence using hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction and electrical work. • Knowledge of fall protection practices and ability to work safely at heights. • Comfort working on carports and other elevated structures. • Ability to perform general labor tasks in a construction and production environment. • Capacity to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety and productivity. • Experience with SolarEdge solar installation systems. • Back ground in residential installation or industrial electrical work. • Familiarity with construction site practices and safety procedures. • Ability to follow detailed installation instructions and project plans. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Fullerton, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
