About this role

Job Title: Operations Team MemberJob DescriptionJoin a dedicated team in a state-of-the-art facility specializing in the processing and storage of steel. As an Operations Team Member, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, quality, and productivity within a clean and climate-controlled manufacturing environment.Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain aluminum and steel processing equipment. • Perform warehousing functions in a manufacturing setting. • Meet plant targets for safety, quality, and productivity. • Follow standardized work instructions for each process. • Conduct visual inspections and verify product compliance with specifications. • Set up and use mechanical equipment as per requirements. • Package and unpack steel and aluminum coils. • Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including mopping and sweeping. • Collaborate effectively with team members to support a cooperative work environment. • Train and develop other employees within the assigned area. • Occasionally lift or move up to 30 pounds and kneel, crouch, squat, or stoop. Essential Skills

• Experience in warehouse, packaging, scanning, and forklift operations. • Material handling and inventory management skills. • Proficiency in working with metal and aluminum. • Positive attitude and ability to multitask. • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English. • Basic math and computer skills for data entry. • Attention to detail to ensure accurate information. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and exercise initiative. • Capability of standing or walking for extended periods. • Use of hands and fingers to grasp tooling; handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. • Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The environment includes moving mechanical parts with a moderate noise level, and appropriate safety equipment is mandatory. Shifts include 1st and 2nd, with flexibility required to cover other shifts and mandatory weekend work when necessary. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of PRINCETON, IN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.75 - $18.75/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
