Scale Technician Job Summary:The Scale Technician is responsible for weighing inbound and outbound loads, maintaining accurate records, and supporting daily scale house operations. This role works closely with drivers, vendors, and production teams to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.Key Responsibilities:
• Weigh and process inbound and outbound loads. • Enter and maintain accurate transaction, shipping, and inventory records. • Assist with load coordination, dispatch, and production workflows. • Provide excellent customer service to drivers and vendors. • Follow safety procedures and company policies. • Identify and report discrepancies in weights, shipments, or documentation. Qualifications:
• 1+ year of weighmaster or scale house experience. • 1+ year in an industrial, manufacturing, or production environment. • 3+ years of lead or supervisory experience preferred. • Strong attention to detail, data entry, and customer service skills. • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in a fast-paced environment. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Modesto, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
