Job Title: General Laborer – 2nd Shift 2:30pm - 11pmJob DescriptionThis 2nd shift general labor role focuses on performing detailed quality inspections on door hardware components produced by manufacturing equipment. You will visually inspect parts, take accurate measurements, count items, and document results to ensure all products meet established quality and dimensional standards while supporting a smooth and efficient production process.Responsibilities

• Perform visual quality inspections on door hardware pieces produced by machines to ensure they meet defined standards. • Use measuring tools, including a tape measure, to verify product dimensions and specifications. • Accurately count parts and record quantities in logs or on required documentation. • Document inspection findings clearly and legibly according to established procedures. • Identify, segregate, and properly handle defective or nonconforming parts based on inspection criteria. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area to support efficient production and inspection activities. • Follow all safety guidelines, standard operating procedures, and quality standards while working on the production floor. • Sit or stand for extended periods while performing repetitive inspection, counting, and documentation tasks. • Work collaboratively with production and inspection team members to meet quality, output, and productivity goals. • Use basic hand tools and power tools as needed to support general labor, assembly, and production tasks. • Assist with loading, general production, and assembly work as required to support overall operations. • Lift up to 49 lbs independently and participate in team lifts for items over 50 lbs in accordance with safety practices. Essential Skills

• Experience performing general labor or production work in a manufacturing or similar environment. • Experience in manufacturing or construction environments. • Ability to use a tape measure accurately for basic measurements. • Basic quality control skills, including visual inspection and measuring. • Strong attention to detail to identify defects and ensure accurate counts. • Capability to complete basic documentation and record inspection results clearly and legibly. • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time while performing repetitive tasks. • Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. • Ability to lift up to 49 lbs independently and participate in safe team lifts for heavier items. • Comfort working in a structured production environment with clear procedures and expectations. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience as a production worker or inspector in a hardware or manufacturing setting. • Skills in carpentry, construction, or similar hands-on trades. • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and other basic production equipment. • Comfort working in a small team environment where communication and cooperation are essential. • Reliability and consistency in following established procedures, safety rules, and quality standards. • General labor experience including assembly, loading, and general production tasks. • Ability to adapt to repetitive tasks while maintaining focus and accuracy. The environment is structured and task-focused, with established safety and quality procedures. You will use basic hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools such as tape measures as part of your daily work. The facility emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and safe material handling, including individual lifting up to 49 lbs and team lifts for heavier items. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fontana, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
