Production OperatorJob DescriptionAs a Production Operator, you will work in various areas of the shop, gaining cross-training on a variety of equipment and manufacturing processes. This hands-on position offers an excellent opportunity to build valuable manufacturing and mechanical skills.Responsibilities
• Operate stamping presses to form and shape metal parts. • Work alongside robotic welders and automated production equipment. • Load and unload materials and finished products. • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (training provided). • Perform quality inspections using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools. • Read basic blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. • Complete machine safety checks and basic equipment maintenance tasks. • Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe. • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals. Essential Skills
• Experience in production and machine operation. • Ability to perform general labor and assembly tasks. • Proficiency in machine operating and general production. • Forklift operation skills. • Ability to use a tape measure. • Mechanical troubleshooting skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. • Positive attitude and willingness to learn. • Mechanical aptitude or experience using hand tools is a plus. • Ability to follow instructions and work safely. • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move materials throughout the shift. • Capability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $55000.00/yr.
