Job Title: Bottle Filler / Production AssociateJob DescriptionThis full-time, temp-to-hire Bottle Filler / Production Associate role supports a busy food manufacturing operation in Ephrata, PA. You operate bottle-filling equipment, monitor product quality, assist with production line activities, and uphold strict food safety and sanitation standards. The position requires comfort working in a fast-paced production environment and offers 1st shift (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM) and 2nd shift (2:00 PM to 10:30 PM) schedules. Responsibilities • Operate and monitor bottle-filling equipment safely and efficiently to meet production targets. • Learn and become proficient on all filling machinery used in the facility. • Ensure all products meet established quality standards for fill levels, capping, and labeling. • Inspect bottles for cleanliness, defects, and overall product quality before they move down the line. • Perform basic equipment adjustments to maintain optimal performance and promptly report mechanical issues to supervisors. • Assist with production line setup, changeovers, and shutdown procedures to support smooth operations. • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area in accordance with food manufacturing standards. • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, sanitation, and quality standards at all times. • Complete production records and documentation accurately for tracking and compliance purposes. • Support production goals and participate in team efficiency initiatives to improve throughput and reduce waste. • Work safely around forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed. • Handle inventory-related tasks in the production and warehouse areas when required. Essential Skills • Ability to work comfortably and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. • Strong attention to detail with a consistent commitment to product quality and accuracy. • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to established procedures. • Dependable attendance and reliable transportation to maintain consistent work schedules. • Strong work ethic and positive attitude, contributing to a cooperative team environment. • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the entire shift. • Ability to work safely in a warehouse and food production environment, including around forklifts and pallet jacks. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Previous experience in manufacturing, machine operation, food production, warehouse, inventory, produce handling, shipping, or receiving is preferred. • Forklift experience is preferred; current or prior forklift certification is a plus. • Strong organizational skills to support inventory handling and production line activities. • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking, documentation, and production record keeping. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team. Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a well-lit, clean, food manufacturing facility that operates under strict sanitation and quality standards. The environment is climate controlled, and certain production areas may be cooler due to processing requirements. Work is performed on your feet for most of the shift, with regular lifting and movement around production lines and warehouse areas. You will work around forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment and are expected to follow all safety and GMP guidelines while maintaining a neat and orderly work area. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ephrata, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
