Part-time 7.5 hours per week

Althea Park has an opportunity for a Dietitian to join our team. This is a part-time role working 7.5 hours per week, with flexibility around how these hours are arranged, such as across two half days. The salary for this role is £9,200 per annum.

Main duties of the job

In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.

Completing dietary and nutritional assessments and developing personalised plans to support the physical wellbeing of our patients.Planning, monitoring and reviewing nutritional interventions to ensure they continue to meet patients individual needs.Managing an assigned caseload, working closely with colleagues across the multidisciplinary team.Providing professional advice and guidance to support effective nutritional care.Maintaining accurate clinical records and sharing relevant information with colleagues.Contributing to service development, audit and the use of evidence-based practice.You can find additional information in the attached job description.

Althea Park, Stroud, Gloucestershire is a residential eating disorder service for young people, offering 10 beds in a therapeutic environment alongside a 3-bedded step-down semi-independent service (The Anchor). It is accessible by public transport, with a bus stop outside the service and Stroud railway station approximately half a mile away, with national rail links and easy access to the M4 and M5.

Person Specification

Requirements Essential

Applicants must hold a BSc or MSc in Dietetics, or a BSc in a relevant science subject with a Postgraduate Diploma or MSc in Dietetics, and must be registered with the HCPC. Experience within the Eating Disorders Service Line is also essential for this role. What we will give you in return
