Salary is £36,176 per annum
You will join the team on the Eating Disorders Unit.
This role is not suitable for newly qualified nurses or preceptorship nurses.
Main duties of the job
As a Mental Health Nurse, you will work effectively as a valued member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, promoting the best interests of clients and their carers while ensuring prescribed nursing care is delivered safely and effectively. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and supportive care environment, exercising professional accountability and responsibility, and using your nursing skills, knowledge and expertise to respond effectively to changing environments. You will work within the scope of your professional practice and maintain high standards of care at all times.

Person Specification
Requirements Essential
Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse with active NMC registration. Minimum of 3 years post-registration experience working within an Eating Disorder setting. Good understanding of NMC guidelines, requirements and professional standards. Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Positive attitude with a commitment to change, improvement and delivering high-quality care. Ability to work flexibly and use innovative approaches to care.
