About this role

Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for highly motivated and dedicated band 5 Radiographers to join the team at London North West University Hospitals NHS Trust.The role is to cover across all sites.

We offer training in all modalities and have established advanced practice such as PICC line insertions, Radiographer led HSG lists, GI lists and reporting to name a few.

You will be expected to work a combination of days Monday to Sunday in and out of hours including nights.

To work within a team of radiographic and clerical staff within the Trust To provide a high standard of expertise and care, To provide a diagnostic imaging service in areas where trained both in and out of normal working hours. To help facilitate learning for students and less experienced staff

Person Specification

Education / Qualifications Essential

Current HCPC Registration BSc Radiography or equivalent

Desirable

Attendance at relevant study days and courses. CDP now evidence

Knowledge and Experience Essential

Experience of A&E, theatre & mobile radiography Knowledge of IRMER Good knowledge of all general aspects of radiography.

Desirable

Teaching and training students and other new members of staff

Skills and Abilities Essential

Good written & verbal communication Understanding of team work
