About this role

Job summary

Are you looking for your next step in dietetics? Do you have a good mixed dietetic background with experience in nutrition support? We are looking for an enthusiastic dietitian to work as part of our HEN team. The job role is varied, including working as part of a multidisciplinary HEN team, supporting enterally fed patients in the community. You will also have your own general outpatient clinics, and help provide acute inpatient cover at our Winchester site. Being able to work both independently and being a team-player is essential for this role.

We are a friendly team of over 20 dietitians, 2 nutrition nurses, dietetic assistants and excellent admin support across our 2 main sites. We support students from the University of Surrey and the University of Winchester on their placements, and there are opportunities to become involved in training other healthcare professionals.

Main duties of the job

This band 6 clinical specialist dietitian works as an autonomous practitioner with a caseload of complex patients within a team structure. Working closely with multidisciplinary professionals and patients and their families / carers to empower and support patients at home with enteral feeding, this role requires excellent communication skills.

Registered as a Dietitian with the HCPC UK Minimum BSc in Nutrition / Human nutrition or equivalent
