Job summary
St Lawrence Surgery in Chesterfield is looking to recruit a GP on a fixed term basis to join our friendly practice team.
The practice is rated good by the CQC and performs well against QOF and the GP Patient Survey.
It is Trust policy that for posts that are for a time limited period, applicants who are currently employed by an NHS organisation will only be appointed on a secondment basis and should have approval from their line manager this is possible before applying. Applicants who are not employed by an NHS organisation, will receive a fixed term contract.
Main duties of the job
You will provide a portfolio of general medical services, including managing a caseload, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
To support the Lead Clinician and practice team to manage a busy and interesting clinical caseload.
The appointee will have the opportunity to take part in leading on key disease areas and assist in developing appropriate healthcare services for a diverse patient list.
They will work collaboratively and support the Lead Clinician and practice team to manage a busy and interesting clinical caseload.
They will lead on key areas within the practice, such as specific QOF domains, quality standards, and practice initiatives, as agreed with the Clinical Lead and/or Practice Manager.
