We are looking to expand our team and recruit a person in to our new Senior Operations Lead role
Main duties of the job
Oversee the daily running of the practice.Ensure adequate staffing levels across reception and administration teams.Develop and implement operational procedures and policies.Monitor service performance against practice objectives and NHS requirements.Lead business continuity and contingency planning.Workforce ManagementManage and supervise non-clinical staff.Support recruitment, induction, training, and performance management processes.Conduct appraisals and regular staff reviews.Promote staff wellbeing and positive team culture.

Our team are friendly and professional comprising of 4 GPs 1 ANP and 1 Practice Nurse.

Person Specification
Experience Essential
Essential Qualifications Educated to degree level or equivalent experience. Evidence of management or leadership training. Essential Experience Experience managing staff within a healthcare or primary care environment. Experience of operational management. Experience of handling complaints and service improvement initiatives. Experience working with policies, governance, and compliance frameworks. Essential Skills Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyse data and produce reports. Problem-solving and decision-making capability. Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and clinical systems. Desirable Experience within General Practice. Knowledge of CQC regulations. Knowledge of NHS contracts and primary care services. Experience of project and change management.
