About this role
Job summary
We are really excited to be creating a new 6-session Salaried GP role at Town Medical Centre and are looking for someone who shares our passion for providing great, personal care to the wonderful community of Sevenoaks Town.
We are a GMS practice looking after around 7,200 patients, with personal lists and a real focus on continuity of care. We know our patients well and genuinely value the relationships we build with them. For us, being a GP is about more than simply getting through a busy surgery its about getting to know people, building trust and making a difference over time.
Main duties of the job
We would love to meet a GP who enjoys the best bits of general practice getting to know your patients, building rapport and being part of a team where you feel known and valued.
We are looking for a 6 session GP to work 3 days a week, Friday essential, with one day being a duty day
About us
At Town Medical Centre there are 2 partners, 2 salaried GPs, 2 nurses and a HCA, a pharmacy team including a clinical pharmacist and pharmacy technician, and a full complement of admin, reception and practice manager team
We have a low home visiting rate. Most Docman is screened by our Docman team so only documents needing GP actions are sent to the GPs. Our pharmacy team deal with our prescribing queries, Docman, medication reviews and prescribing audits. This means that our GPs see patients who really need to us, and minimising admin as much as possible
We believe that happy, supported clinicians are able to provide the best care for their patients, and we want you to feel that Town Medical Centre is a place where you can enjoy being a GP.
