Stores Orderly Department: HSDU Band: 2 £25,272 per annum 37.5 hours per week - see shifts below Early - 6am - 2pm (day off Tuesday) Late - 12 noon - 8pm Every other Saturday 8am - 4pm
An opportunity has arisen for a delivery person to collect and deliver surgical instruments to wards and departments across the hospital.
Time management skills are essential for this role to ensure prompt delivery and collection schedules are met.
You will need to demonstrate excellent organisational and inter personal skills as liaison is an integral part of this role.
The role is physically demanding and involves lifting and handling.

All Sterile Service staff are required to work within the departments Quality System, ISO 13485 and MDR 2002 to provide a customer focused, cost effective and efficient Sterile Supply service.The post holder will be required to deliver both on request and to a schedule. Frequent deliveries will be required.

The surgery division at MKUH, which covers specialties including theatres and the Intensive Care Unit, offers a variety of roles and opportunities, both clinical and non-clinical. The division are looking for passionate, enthusiastic and forward-thinking professionals to join the team.
MKUH is one of the leading hospitals in Europe for implementing robotics to assist in surgery, becoming the first in the continent to use the CMR Versius robot for gynaecological surgery. Since its introduction in 2019, the theatres team have completed over 500 surgical cases, the first hospital in the UK to reach this milestone, achieving this in March 2023.
