Job summary
Join 18 Week Support as a Consultant Dermatologist and make a direct contribution to improving patient access to NHS care. We are seeking experienced Dermatologists to deliver both Two-Week Wait (2WW) and General Dermatology clinics across our NHS services.
You will work alongside experienced clinical teams, helping to reduce waiting times while delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. This is an opportunity to use your expertise in a supportive environment, with flexible opportunities available across a range of NHS sites.

Main duties of the job
As a Consultant Dermatologist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality dermatology clinics, including:
Assessing, diagnosing and managing patients across 2WW and General Dermatology pathways.Undertaking comprehensive dermatological examinations and clinical assessments.Assessing and managing patients with suspected skin cancer where appropriate.Developing and communicating appropriate treatment and management plans.Providing specialist clinical advice and guidance to patients and colleagues.Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation and communicating outcomes appropriately.Working collaboratively with the wider clinical team to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Person Specification Essential Criteria GMC registration with inclusion on the Specialist Register in Dermatology. Previous NHS clinical experience. Experience delivering 2WW and/or General Dermatology clinics. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to delivering safe, effective and patient-centred care.
