Position Description: Analyzes and coordinates office services such as personnel, budget preparation and control, fiscal affairs, equipment utilization, records control, and special management studies.

Major/Essential Functions: • Read all source documents to add and update all records in the Advancement RM database with accuracy and efficiency. Batch, annotate and reconcile with Advancement RM designations, sources and special handling on all gift transactions. Possess baseline knowledge in batch creation, gift processing, and biographical updates. • Uses individual objectives in processing deposits, gift transactions and biographical updates from the online giving platform by making minor changes to existing techniques and concepts. Provide standard professional advice and follow Gifts and Records Management standards with some latitude for personal decision making, operating largely independently. • Maintain data integrity by running integrity checks and correcting data issues daily. Utilize online research resources including Banner Student to verify and acquire updated information for constituent records in the Advancement RM database and work with schools, departments, and staff to verify and resolve gift and biographic issues related to departmental needs. • Maintain assigned affiliations, committees, awards, and student activities in the Advancement RM database by cultivating internal and external relationships with schools, departments and staff to identify and resolve biographical issues related to departmental needs. • Live and promote the shared values of the Texas Tech University System: -People First-Integrity-Community Exemplary Service-Resilience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to handle a heavy work volume that must be processed accurately and within time constraints. Detail oriented with good organizational skills. Good communication skills necessary to interact with various departments and co-workers. Maintain flexibility in workflow and assist as needed with various projects within the department.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in job related field plus one year of related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal five (5) years.

Preferred Qualifications: Proficiently operate a 10 key calculator, phone answering skills at a professional level. Knowledge of the Banner Accounting System. General office skills. Minimum two years back office related functions with an emphasis in accounting, banking and/or cash management. Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Be able to perform all tasks with a high degree of proficiency, accuracy and timeliness.

Pay Statement: Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan.
