Ensure compliance with corporate procurement policies and procedures while driving cost-effectiveness, quality, and supply chain optimization.
How you’ll make an impact:
• Convert PRs to POs based on production plans and project requirements (quality, quantity, delivery, and cost). • Manage the full PO cycle with approved suppliers, including PO issuance, supplier confirmation, and SAP updates. • Coordinate with suppliers, shipping, and related departments to ensure material availability and on-time delivery. • Monitor and adjust Safety Stock, ROP, and ROQ based on consumption trends. • Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures. • Drive continuous improvement within the procurement process. • Track supplier order status and expedite deliveries when required. • Resolve material shortages and delivery issues, escalating when necessary. • Coordinate shipments according to agreed Incoterms. • Ensure materials are delivered on time, in the correct quantity and quality. • Support invoice verification, payment processing, and issue resolution. • Coordinate with shipping, warehouse, and suppliers to ensure timely material receipt. • Monitor material orders to support production plans and expedite overdue deliveries. • Maintain accurate SAP master data, including lead times, GR times, and inbound requirements. • Manage Open POs, Late PRs, and Order Acknowledgments (OAs). • Review and optimize ROP/ROQ quarterly. • Prepare monthly inventory forecasts and support slow-moving stock reduction. • Provide monthly forecasts to key suppliers for critical materials.
Your background:
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations, energy or heavy industry preferred. • Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and production planning tools. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills; advanced Excel proficiency. • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Fluent in English; knowledge of Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies is advantageous.
