Job Description Summary The Field Service Engineering role is an investment where GE Vernova provides hands-on technical training to fresh graduates. In this role, you will gain practical on-the-job knowledge and technical experience while developing the core skills necessary to maintain, troubleshoot, and support our equipment in the field. This role requires a solid understanding of engineering concepts, technical methods, and operational procedures.
This is an opportunity to join our team for a 1-year fixed-term engagement, offering valuable experience within our core operations.
Job Description Key Responsibilities:
• Work with and adhere to technical instructions and internal processes for on-site repair and maintenance • Perform administrative tasks such as: timely and thorough timesheets and expense reports, ordering materials, and documenting work in the SOR and DOR • Attend and successfully complete all scheduled training courses • Promote customer satisfaction through a high level of quality awareness • Maintain a strong safety awareness to ensure that work performed meets the technical requirements of GEV safety standards • Knowledge of troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance checks for a wide range of equipment • Supervise critical tasks when performed by suppliers on behalf of GEV (e.g., measurements, dimensional checks, and other activities considered by management) • Willingness to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed in the field. • Extensive travel to and from projects and various field assignments is required
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an Associate’s degree in a technical field from an accredited university/college • Fresh graduates or maximum 2 years' experience in a field services or power generation • Strives to achieve Project goals and Customer satisfaction • A team player with the ability to communicate effectively with crosses functional teams • Extensive travel to and from projects and various field assignments will be required • Strong oral and written language skills in English and Arabic • Advanced proficiency in MS Office programs • The legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restriction Desired Characteristics:
