Course: Civil Engineering Foundations This course provides an in-depth exploration of civil construction, focusing on the planning, design, and building of public infrastructure projects. Students learn the fundamental principles and methods used to create essential societal structures, including roads, bridges, dams, and water treatment plants. Key aspects of transportation systems and water management are also addressed, equipping participants with the skills necessary to contribute effectively to the development of these crucial projects. This course is suited for students who want to play a significant role in shaping the infrastructure that supports modern society.

What You Will Do:

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

Qualifications:

Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field or a minimum of 5-7 years' experience in the civil engineering industry. Candidates with exceptional, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the stated requirements, as determined by the Assistant Dean.
