About this role
Purpose within the Organization:
• Student Worker will work supporting counselors and assisting with appointment scheduling as well as provide operational support to GCU’s non-traditional campus.
Responsibilities Related to Purpose:
• Proficiently use University systems to execute multiple tasks and reporting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Organize time effectively so all prioritized work is completed in a timely manner and desired tasks are achieved to ensure service quality.
• Work well in a team environment and communicating with other campus departments and leadership.
• Assist with Excel documents and reports
Equipment Used and Responsibility: This position focuses appointment setting and uses the following programs:
• Bookings
• Phone
• Outlook
• OneNote
• SharePoint
• CRM
• Other programs as needed
Qualifications:
• Willingness to provide excellent customer service.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Willingness to work, learn, and be flexible.
• Must be available to work shifts on 3 of 5 weekdays each week.
• Must be able to work close to maximum hours each week (20 during school times, up to 40 during breaks, including Summer).
Experience/Education: Grand Canyon Education is committed to a student first policy. Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:
• Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.
• Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
• Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
