About this role

Position Summary Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Company aircraft, ensuring full compliance with operational procedures, regulatory requirements, and Company standards. Conduct all phases of flight, including operations away from the main operating base, while maintaining the highest levels of safety, airworthiness, operational efficiency, and customer service for passengers, crew, and cargo.

Key Responsibilities

• Operates their assigned aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, in strict compliance with Bristow operational standards and all applicable regulations;

• Places safety and customer service at the forefront in everything they do, both inside and outside the aircraft;

• Maintains situational awareness throughout the entire operational region with respect to weather conditions, NOTAMs, sea state and customer offshore facility status;

• Manages passenger movements, aircraft movements, briefings and baggage loading to ensure safety and compliance;

• Completes necessary flight planning paperwork, preflight, fueling and oversight of manifesting to ensure compliance;

• Maintains accurate electronic and paper records, including journey logs, personal flight and duty records, and aircraft technical logbook entries;

• Reports all aircraft mechanical irregularities by recording them in the aircraft's paper and electronic technical logs and ensures that the aircraft is airworthy before, during, and after all flights;

• Facilitates communications with the customer and ensures Bristow is represented in a professional manner;

• Stays up to date on all Bristow operational and safety procedures;

• Complies with other duties and assignments as determined by the Lead Pilot / Director of Operations.

Minimum Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Captain in offshore helicopter operations, preferably on the AW139.

• Demonstrated flight experience meeting the following minimum requirements:

3,000 total flight hours; 1,500 flight hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC); 1,200 flight hours on multi-engine helicopters.

• Valid ANAC AW139 Type Rating.

• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher preferred.

• Valid U.S. visa.
