An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced ADHD Pharmacist to join our forward-thinking Mental Health team working fully remotely from anywhere in the UK.
Were seeking a dedicated Independent Prescriber with proven experience in mental health, primary or secondary care, and psychiatric settings. You will play a key role in supporting patients with ADHD and other complex mental health conditions, delivering safe, high-quality care through remote assessments, reviews, and prescribing.
This role offers the flexibility of remote working while allowing you to make a direct impact on patient wellbeing and service innovation in ADHD care.
Main duties of the job Clinical Practice
Conduct comprehensive ADHD medication reviews and mental health assessments via secure remote platforms.
Prescribe ADHD and psychotropic medications safely, adhering to NICE guidelines, local formularies, and Trust policies.
Monitor and manage patients with complex and high-risk presentations, ensuring appropriate follow-up and escalation.
Optimise pharmacological treatment, considering drug efficacy, side effects, and patient adherence.
Provide specialist advice to clinicians on ADHD and mental health medication management.
Maintain accurate, contemporaneous, and detailed clinical documentation in electronic health records (e.g. EMIS).

Qualifications Essential
Essential Requirements Registered Pharmacist (GPhC) Independent Prescriber qualification Minimum 6 months experience within a mental health setting (cumulative) Demonstrated experience managing high-risk patients Background in primary (GP/medical) or secondary (hospital) care Experience working on psychiatry wards and conducting mental health medical reviews and assessments Confident in managing ADHD medication pathways remotely
