Summary: As a Database Administrator, your typical day involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database systems to support organizational needs. You will be responsible for installing and configuring database management systems, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability. Daily tasks include developing and executing procedures for routine maintenance and swiftly addressing any issues that arise to minimize downtime. Collaboration with various teams to understand data requirements and provide seamless database solutions is a key aspect of your role, ensuring data integrity and availability throughout the enterprise. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Monitor database performance and implement changes to improve efficiency and security. - Develop and maintain documentation related to database configurations, procedures, and policies. - Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in database-related tasks. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute database upgrades and migrations. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server. - Experience in database backup and recovery techniques to ensure data safety. - Strong knowledge of database security practices and user access management. - Ability to optimize complex queries and troubleshoot performance issues. - Familiarity with database monitoring tools and automation of routine tasks. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server. - This position is based at our BDC6F - SEZ location. - A 15 years full time education is required.
