Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues that arise within various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring system performance, diagnosing problems, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous engagement with complex technical environments, where identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions are key to maintaining business continuity and supporting operational excellence. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Lead efforts to streamline processes and improve system reliability through innovative approaches. - Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and problem-solving capabilities. - Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and issue resolution. - Continuously evaluate system performance and recommend enhancements to support evolving business needs. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Zscaler Architecture. - Strong knowledge of network security principles and cloud-based security frameworks. - Experience with troubleshooting and resolving complex application and infrastructure issues. - Ability to analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and vulnerabilities. - Familiarity with integration of security solutions within enterprise environments. - Skilled in collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to implement scalable and secure solutions. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Zscaler Architecture. - This position is based at our PDC3C - SEZ location. - A 15 years full time education is required.
