About this role

Your Company: This is an opportunity for a knowledgeable Electrician to join a leading engineering business, to work in the Stourbridge area with travel across the country.

Your Role While in this position your duties may include but will not be limited to: Handling the installation of electrical cables, fixtures, equipment and wiring, in line with the engineering plans and project specificationsUndertaking maintenance and repair work on assigned electrical systemsWorking to the specifications of blueprints, technical drawings and schematics to ensure a sound understanding of requirementsEnsuring adherence to safety standards, regulations and codesProviding high quality customer service when interacting with customersProactively diagnosing electrical issues and seek solutions to mitigate delaysHandling the testing of electrical systems, including conducting inspections and ensure compliance with regulations and specificationsEnsuring that accurate records of any work performed are maintained and updated as neededPerforming excellent stakeholder management with both internal teams and external parties to ensure projects are delivered as neededSupervising the assigned electrician mate, to support their professional development and training needsOn occasion, in light of absence, acting as a team lead to ensure scheduled activities are delivered including liaising with contractors You MUST Have Please apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria: Possession of a Level 2 or 3 City & Guilds electrical engineering and installation qualification, in addition to any other relevant certifications such as ECS or EUSRAt least 3 years of experience within Solar PV construction or O&M experience on either Utility Scale Solar or BESS Systems, as well as experience in LV/HV Planned Preventative maintenanceStrong technical knowledge and skills including Central/String Inverters, knowledge of Earthing SystemsUp to date Health & Safety legislation knowledgeExcellent communication experience, both in written and verbal formA valid UK driving license Your Opportunity: As an active entity within the renewable energy sector, this company is a key player in important projects, offering a range of services, from project management to design, procurement, construction and maintenance services. The premise of this role is to provide electrical installations, as well as planned and preventative maintenance work for electrical work to support customers and project work.

This business will offer the successful candidate a starting salary of up to £60,000, which will be highly dependent on previous experience and relevant knowledge. Additionally, there will be a great holiday allocation, pension contribution and monetary incentives. As well as this, there will be excellent opportunities for progression, under the guidance and leadership of senior management professionals. You will also be given the tools and materials to advance your knowledge and keep your skills up to date as well.
