Hiring for Dundalk & surrounding areas. What you'll be doing Supporting an adult males with intellectual disabilities, autism, mental health needs or complex support requirements. Daily living support — cooking, shopping, budgeting, household routines Encourage and prompt independence in, appearance and daily routines in line with the individual's support plan Getting out and about: appointments, day services, training, sport, leisure, family visits Following individual support plans, positive behaviour support plans and risk plans Administering and recording medication (training provided) Writing clear daily notes and incident reports Reporting any safeguarding concern immediately Working as part of a small, tight team on a planned rota What you need Full driving licence. You'll be driving service users and moving between locations. Some experience supporting people with different conditions — intellectual disability, autism, mental health, epilepsy, acquired brain injury, dementia or physical disability QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support, Social Care or Disability Studies — OR a genuine willingness to complete it. Eligible to work in Ireland Happy to be Garda vetted and provide two references Available for 12-hour day and night shifts, weekends and bank holidays. Who we're looking for You're a people person.
