About the Role

As a Technical Coordinator, you will take ownership of key food safety and quality systems across the site, ensuring compliance with internal standards, customer requirements and industry regulations. Working closely with operational teams, you'll support quality performance, lead audit activities, drive improvement initiatives and help embed a culture of quality throughout the business.

Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring we continue to deliver safe, high-quality products while identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise and support for Quality Management Systems (QMS)Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance site quality performanceLead and support problem-solving activities, quality investigations and root cause analysisDevelop quality awareness and capability across operational teamsSupport quality control activities within production operationsProduce, analyse and maintain Quality Index reports and performance metricsCoordinate and lead internal and external audit activities, including customer and regulatory auditsBuild effective relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholdersIdentify opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiencies and strengthen quality performanceDeliver continuous improvement projects that support business objectivesChampion best practice and support colleagues in achieving personal development and continuous improvement goals What You'll Bring

Previous experience in a Technical, Quality or Food Safety role within a manufacturing environmentStrong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levelsExperience using structured problem-solving tools, including A3 methodologiesKnowledge of retailer codes of practice and customer standardsExperience supporting and/or leading BRC auditsStrong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and ExcelHACCP Level 3 qualificationFood Safety Level 3 qualificationAdvanced Food Hygiene knowledgeUnderstanding of microbiological principles and their application within food manufacturingExperience within the dairy industry would be highly advantageous What We Offer
