Job SummaryYou will serve as a Supervisory Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Legacy and Small Combatant EW Support Branch; Maritime Electromagnetic Warfare Systems Division; Electromagnetic Spectrum Warfare Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. You will serve as the Branch manager. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. NT-05 is equivalent to GS-13/14.

QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11 and GS-12 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating experience with the Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program (SEWIP) AN/SLQ-32 and a knowledge of the naval electronic warfare Family of Systems. Highly qualified candidates will have a strong technical background, proven leadership experience, and a track record of successfully managing multiple competing priorities under tight budget constraints while maintaining clear communication and a mission-oriented focus on execution. Major DutiesYou will be responsible for the analysis and project management of Electronic Warfare (EW) systems under the Branch’s cognizance (SLQ-32 Legacy, USCG EW systems, FMS EW systems and Scaled EW systems).You will provide support to advance sustainment activities, generate technical data for integrated products, and provide expertise to establish depot planning and certification as well as installation related drawings.You will collaborate to provide lifecycle management and system level expertise in conjunction with Regional Maintenance Centers.You will provide leadership and expertise required to execute the Tactical Systems Support Center (TSSC) to create and field EW system threat libraries and Test and Evaluation functions for LCS class ships.You will provide obsolescence management guidance pertaining to SLQ-32 legacy systems.You will provide leadership for sustainment of AN/SLQ-32(V)1-5 U.S. Navy and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirements, as well as LCS designated systems (ES3601, Weber 2000, ALEX DLS, TERMA DLS).
