Job SummaryYou will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the MANPOWER & ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENT, FIELD SUPPORT ACTIVITY of FLDSUPPACT.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Engaging the knowledge of advanced Cybersecurity frameworks and federal data security mandates. 2) Possessing skills in executing complex IT Systems Analysis to transition networks into secure cloud environments. 3) Applying the ability to lead IT Forensics Operations to rapidly identify, contain, and report cyber breaches. 4) Exercising advanced problem-solving and written communication skills to evaluate technology contracts and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. Major DutiesYou will operate with minimal supervision, independently handle highly complex assignments, adapt established practices to non-routine problems, and make decisions impacting command-wide IT programs.You will plan, direct, and control the implementation, sustainment, and lifecycle management of information systems and IT equipment.You will lead IT governance, cybersecurity, and compliance efforts in accordance with Department of War and Department of the Navy policy.You will guide enterprise data management, analytics, and decision-support capabilities by improving data quality, accessibility, interoperability, and visualization across manpower, financial, and administrative systems.
