Job SummaryYou will serve as a Supervisory Program Manager as the Recovery and Visual Landing Aids Programs Branch Head (BL41400) within the Prototype and Manufacturing Division of the Prototype Manufacturing and Test Department in the NAWCAD Lakehurst of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-03 (GS-9-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: Demonstrating the ability to lead and supervise a multi-disciplinary workforce in the planning, execution, and full lifecycle management of complex technical programs and industrial projects. Applying advanced program management principles to achieve rigorous cost, schedule, and technical performance metrics while serving as a principal advisor to senior leadership and external stakeholders to resolve operational, programmatic, and resource challenges. Demonstrating proficiency in strategic workforce planning, including developing workload forecasts and utilizing systems to monitor program execution, budgets, and milestones. Having expert-level skill in directing cross-functional teams, establishing organizational accountability, mentoring personnel, and aligning customer requirements with overarching strategic goals in a high-tempo military or technical organization. Major DutiesYou will plan work and prepare performance plans covering work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.You will evaluate work performance of subordinates and recommends official performance ratings.You will serve as the Head of the Recovery and VLA Programs Branch, leading a multi-disciplinary team of engineering and technical professionals.You will guide teams through the entire life cycle of large-scale acquisitions and complex contracting actions.You will manage branch assets, including personnel and facilities, and develop workload forecasts and hiring plans to maintain long-term technical capability.You will perform the full range of supervisory responsibilities, including planning work, assigning tasks, evaluating performance, managing human resources, and handling administrative tasks.You will serve as a designated Approving Official (AO) for the Government Purchase Card (PCARD) program and ensures sound fiscal management by monitoring budgets, analyzing costs, and forecasting needs.
