About this role

Job summary We are looking for a Programme Manager to support delivery of the InSites-led workstream within the national Innovator Passport programme. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of innovation, policy and real-world adoption -- helping to make it easier for the NHS to adopt proven innovations by reducing duplication and improving how information is shared and used. You will work closely with national partners, NHS organisations and innovators to shape and test approaches in practice. You will play a hands-on role in a high-profile, evolving programme -- helping to turn national ambition into practical delivery, coordinating real-world testing with NHS sites and innovators, and feeding learning back into the ongoing development of the Innovator Passport.

Main duties of the job The role involves delivering a complex, cross-system programme, working across national partners, NHS organisations and innovators. This will include planning and managing programme activity, tracking progress, and ensuring clear governance, reporting and alignment across multiple stakeholders and priorities. A key part of the role will be leading and supporting real-world testing with NHS sites and innovators, translating policy ambitions into practical approaches, and feeding insights from testing back into the ongoing development of the programme. You will contribute to the development of standardised information, guidance and practical approaches that support more consistent and efficient adoption of innovation across the NHS, working closely with partners including NHS England and the NHS Innovation Accelerator (NIA), and playing an active role in shaping how the workstream evolves over time. You will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment, able to use sound judgement and respond flexibly as priorities develop. You will work with a range of information to support decision-making and build effective relationships across organisational boundaries.

About us Our ambition is to deliver excellent local and specialist services, to improve the health and well being of our patients, and provide a vibrant place for staff to develop, innovate and build careers. We aim to make the most of our skills and experiences so we can become the best we can be. As one organisation we will recruit the finest and retain more specialist staff due to more employment opportunities across our Trust.
