We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Senior Care Assistant - Nights to join our team at Silvermere Care Home in Surrey. This role involves supporting the Care team, maintaining high personal care standards, and ensuring a safe, supportive environment. Responsibilities include monitoring residents' wellbeing, supporting medication requirements, and undertaking staff supervisions. You will act as a key point of contact with residents, relatives, and healthcare professionals, ensuring any concerns are addressed.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be tosupportand work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open,supportive, andinclusiveenvironment for residents, visitors and staff.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation. Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations. Supporting residents with their medication requirements. Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required. Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.

Our ideal candidatemust:

Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes. Have 2 years experience working in similar care environment. Have the ability tocommunicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Have a positive attitude to bothsupporting and nurturing residents and staff. Beresponsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

Qualifications Essential

Our ideal candidate must have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes and at least 2 years' experience in a similar care environment. The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, a positive attitude towards supporting residents and staff, and responsiveness to a range of responsibilities are required.
