Job summary

We are seeking a Night Care and Support Worker to join our Retirement Living service, supporting tenants to live independently within a safe and connected community.

This is a unique care role focused on enabling individuals to remain in their own homes while receiving the support they need.

Working night shifts from 9:00pm to 7:00am, you will provide practical and emotional support, promote wellbeing, and help tenants maintain independence, dignity, and choice.

The role is based on an average of 37.5 hours per week across a two-week rolling rota.

You will build meaningful relationships, support care planning, and work collaboratively with health and social care professionals.

About the role This isnt a typical care role.

As a Care & Support Worker, youll support tenants living in their own flatshelping them stay independent, connected, and in control of their lives. From practical support to companionship, youll build meaningful relationships and play a key role in creating a strong community.

This role is based on an average of 37.5 hours per week, worked across a two-week rolling rota. Night shifts run from 9:00pm to 7:00am.

The shift pattern is as follows:

Week 1: Saturday, Sunday, Thursday, Friday Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

There is a genuine occupational requirement, in accordance with the Sex Discrimination Act 1974, for the postholder to be female.
