Messenger
Job Description: Join our team as a Messenger! As an essential part of our operations, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate mail and freight distribution.
Duties • Sorting & Organization: Start your day by meticulously organizing and sorting mail and freight. Your attention to detail ensures that each item reaches its intended destination. • Driving Company Vans: Hop behind the wheel of our company vehicles (vans) and hit the road! You’ll be responsible for delivering mail and freight to various locations. • Acquiring and Distributing: At each stop, acquire incoming mail and distribute outgoing mail. • Vehicle Inspection: Safety first! Conduct a weekly inspection of the vehicle you’re using to ensure it’s in top condition.
Flexible Hours Most weeks, you’ll work around 15-18 hours, with the possibility of up to 24 hours during peak season. Start times vary based on your assigned route, falling between 5:00 AM and 10 AM. Off-peak days won’t exceed 7 hours.
During Peak (typically November-December) we request Saturday availability. These short shifts involve early morning pickups and deliveries from the post office.
