*Cardiac Sonographer (Part-Time)* *Location:* Hamilton *Organization:* Heart and Health Clinic
*Position Overview* Heart and Health Clinic is seeking a skilled and motivated Cardiac Sonographer to join our growing outpatient cardiology team in Cambridge. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to transition into full-time for candidates who are open to supporting additional clinic locations within our network.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms in accordance with clinic protocols and accreditation standards * Ensure accurate image acquisition and preliminary reporting for physician interpretation * Maintain proper documentation and workflow within EMR systems * Collaborate with cardiologists and clinic staff to support efficient patient care * Adhere to all infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards
*Qualifications*
* Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program * Active registration in good standing (e.g., Sonography Canada / ARDMS preferred) * Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (preferred) * Proficiency in performing and optimizing cardiac imaging independently * Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient environment
