*We are looking for a Front Desk Agent to join our team!*
As a Front Desk Agent, you are empowered to exceed guest expectations and maximize room revenue every shift. You will achieve excellence by making business decisions that are focused on upholding the highest standards in guest service while delivering against key financial goals and performance metrics for the department. The Front Desk department is the front line of all guest services, operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year.

*Main Duties:*
* Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly, acknowledge all guests * Adhere to all standard operating procedures and understand all department processes and policies * Selling the hotel?s features and benefits over the phone and in person at the front desk, and securing the reservation (sale) is a daily activity requiring excellent product knowledge and advanced communication skills * Seek to understand guest concerns to resolve all issues prior to the guest?s departure
*Skills/Requirements:*
* Previous experience an asset * Post-Secondary education in a related field is an asset * Computer savvy * Proficient in English * Attention to detail and pride in one?s work * Advanced communication skills * Confidence to endure periods of working alone * The ability to withstand long periods of standing
*Working Conditions:*
This is a *part-time position*, primarily scheduled on weekends and long weekends, with the potential for *up to 3?4 shifts per week based on business demands and operational needs*.
This position works in a fast-paced environment and requires being on your feet for extended periods while managing multiple tasks and priorities. Flexibility may be required during periods of increased business demand.
The position may also require lifting up to *50 lbs.*
