Supervisor of Certified Medical Assistant I,II - Specialty Pediatrics
Hiring Range $30.14 to $40.18
Qualifications:
SCF programs are established to serve a primary population comprised of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF's geographical service area. Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of this population. Such knowledge is critical to ensure the achievement of SCF's vision of a Native Community that enjoys physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellness, and mission of working together with the Native Community to achieve wellness through health and related services:
• Bachelor's degree; OR two (2) years of experience as a CMA or LPN; OR demonstrated proficiency working at SCF as a CMA or LPN.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant OR licensed in the State of Alaska as a Practical Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO and PALS as required for specialty and any certification relating to the scope of practice as required.
Additional Qualifications for Supervisor of Certified Medical Assistant II:
• Two (2) years of demonstrated experience as a Supervisor of CMA I level; OR demonstrated proficiency as a Supervisor of CMA I at SCF.
Native Preference:
Under P.L. 93-638, as amended, the company pursues a policy of Native preference in hiring, contracting and training. SCF Human Resources must receive certification before applicants receive preference.
