About this role

The Giddings Asset-based Senior Health, Safety, and Environmental Representative provides field-level support to Magnolia's Workover Operations team to deliver safe and environmentally sound operations that are compliant with Magnolia, federal, state, and local HSE requirements.

This position serves as the primary HSE resource supporting Magnolia's workover operations and contractor workover rig fleet across the company's area of operations. The successful candidate will partner closely with operations personnel, contractors, and leadership to drive continuous improvement in safety performance, environmental stewardship, regulatory compliance, and operational risk management.

Responsibilities:

• Support and advise workover operations teams and contractors in Magnolia's efforts to improve HSE performance.

• Provide field-level HSE support for Magnolia's workover rig fleet and associated field operations.

• Integrate HSE practices and performance standards into daily operations.

• Communicate and support conformance with federal, state, local regulations, and company HSE work practices.

• Develop and implement programs and initiatives designed to improve HSE performance and strengthen operational risk management.

• Conduct field audits, inspections, assessments, and observations to identify improvement opportunities and verify compliance with company expectations.

• Lead and support incident investigations, root cause analyses, corrective action development, and lessons learned communications.

• Coordinate and facilitate HSE meetings, training programs, and contractor engagement activities.

• Support emergency response planning, drills, exercises, and response activities.

• Support environmental compliance, spill response, spill reporting, incident investigations, and other field environmental programs.

• Conduct incident data analysis, trending, and report development to support continuous improvement efforts.

• Conduct internal and external reporting and recordkeeping per applicable requirements.

• Participate in, lead, and coach others on HSE discussions, tailgate meetings, and operational planning activities.

• Develop strong working relationships with operations leadership, contractors, and field personnel to promote a proactive safety culture.

• Collaborate with Production, Drilling & Completions, Environmental, and Regulatory teams to ensure consistent implementation of Magnolia's HSE expectations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• 5+ years of Health, Safety, and Environmental experience in the upstream oil and gas industry preferred.

• Experience supporting workover, drilling, or other rig-based operations strongly preferred.

• Strong understanding of occupational safety, contractor management, incident investigation, and operational risk management principles.

• Experience supporting environmental compliance activities associated with field operations, including spill response and incident reporting.

• Working knowledge of applicable OSHA, Texas RRC, and environmental regulations preferred.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage field personnel, contractors, and leadership.

• Ability to work independently and support multiple simultaneous operations across a broad geographic area.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

Job Location:

• Primary office location within Magnolia's Gidding Production Asset, with flexibility between Giddings, Caldwell, and College Station office locations. Frequent travel throughout Magnolia's area of operations is required.
