What you'll do:
As Finance Manager/Controller, you are a strategic partner to the General Manager and Senior Leadership Team. This role is a key leadership position functioning as the senior finance leader and responsible for supporting the organization's financial strength, strategic planning, operational decisions, risk management, and governance.
• Financial Stewardship: Lead accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cost management, financial reporting, tax, audit, payables, receivables and compliance.
• Strategic Leadership: Partner with the GM and SLT on planning, policy, capital decisions, investments, and organizational priorities.
• Financial Insight: Provide analysis and recommendations on finance, cash flow, capital additions, business performance, and competitive trends.
• Risk & Compliance: Maintain strong financial controls, support Enterprise Risk Management, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote proactive risk awareness.
• Governance Support: Prepare clear financial information and reporting to support governance, Board oversight, and informed decision-making.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop high-performing teams across the organization

Twin Valley Co-op serves a broad geographic area in Western Manitoba from Elkhorn, Miniota, Birtle, Foxwarren, Rossburn and Russell communities and villages within. Who you are:
You are a strategic, detail-oriented financial leader who brings sound judgment, strong business acumen, and a collaborative approach. You possess:
• CPA is required, or candidates actively pursuing CPA may be considered depending upon experience.
• Progressive 6 + years of experience in accounting, finance, administration, or senior financial leadership.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, audit, tax, and compliance.
• Experience supporting strategic planning, capital planning, risk management, and organizational decision-making.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and support high-performing teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
