About this role

Key Activities/Responsibilities

· Follow and maintain a monthly preventive maintenance schedule for facility equipment to help ensure equipment remains safe,

reliable, and operational.

· Inspect, test, and service the wash bay monthly to support proper operation and facility requirements.

· Coordinate required service and repairs for the parts truck to maintain reliable operation; Keep the parts truck clean, organized, and ready for daily use.

· Cross-train and support assembly functions within the shop to help meet production goals and operational demands during slower periods.

· Assist the parts department with shipping, receiving, and other material-handling responsibilities as needed.

· Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company driving policies, as applicable. Load, unload, secure, and inspect cargo to ensure safe transportation; Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance concerns.

· Support branch and customer operations by safely transporting equipment, parts, and materials as needed. This role requires flexibility in responding to time-sensitive delivery requests, including after-hours, overnight, and occasional out-of-state travel to meet critical business and customer needs.

· Repair and maintain doors, locks, windows, fixtures, furniture, and building systems; Monitor scrap and trash containers and notify the office when pickups are required to maintain an orderly and efficient facility.

· Assist with office, warehouse, and yard improvements, repairs, and special projects.

· Replace light bulbs, filters, ceiling tiles, and other facility components as needed.

· Assist with setup, relocation, and assembly of office furniture, equipment, and workstations.

· Maintain exterior areas, including walkways, parking lots, and landscaping support as needed.

· Ensure compliance with company safety policies and applicable regulations.

· Respond to facility emergencies and urgent repair needs as necessary.

· Support facility improvement projects and preventative maintenance programs.

· Perform additional facility, logistics, and operational support including other duties as assigned.

This position requires driving company vehicles that may be subject to DOT medical qualification requirements. Employees must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Card. A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is not required.

Skills Required:

• Effective verbal communication with good customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, vendors, and management.

• Ability to follow established procedures and complete assigned responsibilities reliably.

• Ability to take direction from management, prioritize multiple tasks and changing needs, and support multiple areas of the operation as required.

• Working knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and general building maintenance.

• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.

• Ability to climb ladders, stoop, kneel, crouch, and work in confined spaces.

• Ability to stand, walk, and drive for extended periods.

• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Ability to load and unload equipment, tools, and materials safely.
