Are you ready for the next step in your career? We are looking for an Item Specialist to help ensure efficient global item data management that supports the quote-to-delivery process. In this role, you will improve the quality, consistency, and availability of item data across Valmet systems. You will work with professionals across sales, engineering, procurement, production, logistics, and customer service while contributing to smooth business operations worldwide.
Your responsibilities
• You will create, maintain, and control global and local item data throughout its lifecycle in Valmet systems.
• You will coordinate Bill of Material (BOM) creation and updates while ensuring the accuracy of key PDM attributes.
• You will link engineering documents, transfer items to ERP systems, and enrich item data for business use.
• You will collaborate with service business professionals to improve end-to-end process cycle times.
• You will monitor item data quality, implement corrective actions, and contribute to new concepts, tools, and systems.

We offer
You will be part of the Global Supply Item Data Management function, supporting global and local item data activities. The team plays an important role in ensuring reliable item information throughout the quote-to-delivery process. You will work closely with sales, customer service, engineering, technical support, procurement, production, logistics, forwarding, and Global Financial Operations. You will have opportunities to contribute to process improvements and the development of new data management concepts, tools, and systems.
