- Support new product introduction (NPI) by creating and validating CNC programs for prototype and production parts.
- Maintain accurate documentation of programs, setup sheets, and process notes.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to deliver process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to company safety standards and regulatory requirements at all times.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining and offline programming using CAD/CAM software (e.g., Siemens NX, Mastercam, Edgecam, or equivalent).
- Skilled in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and 3D models.
- Understanding of cutting tool technology, machining strategies, and work-holding methods.
- Familiar with G-code, machine control systems (Fanuc).
- Practical understanding of lean principles, set-up reduction, and process optimisation.
- Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
