Are you ready to take the lead and make a meaningful difference in peoples lives? Were looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to work across our supported living services in Colsterworth, delivering and overseeing high-quality support for individuals with learning disabilities and/or difficulties, autism, and complex needs.
In this role, youll support people to live as independently as possible within their own homes, promoting choice, control, and inclusion in everyday life. Youll play a key role in ensuring each person receives tailored, person-centred support that reflects their goals, preferences, and aspirations.
Reporting to the Registered Manager, youll divide your time between hands-on support and leadership or administrative responsibilities. Alongside supporting the individuals, youll also provide day-to-day guidance and leadership to the staff teams across the serviceshelping to coordinate shifts, maintain high standards of care, and ensure the service runs smoothly, safely, and in line with best practice and regulatory requirements. This is a varied and rewarding role where you can make a real impact on both the people we support and your colleagues.
About the people youll be supporting:Youll be supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or difficulties, autism, and complex needs. Each person has their own unique personality, communication style, routines, and level of independence. Some enjoy being active in their local community and engaging in social activities, while others prefer quieter, structured, home-based routines.
Your role is to enable each person to live the life they choosesupporting them with daily living skills, communication, emotional regulation, and decision-making, while promoting independence wherever possible. Youll take a proactive, person-centred approach, including positive behaviour support where appropriate, to ensure individuals feel safe, understood, and valued in their own homes.
Youll also work closely with families, carers, and external professionals to ensure consistent, high-quality support, while providing reassurance and clear communication.
Where youll be working:This full-time role is based across supported living services in Colsterworth. Youll combine shift-based support with dedicated time for leadership and administrative duties, requiring flexibility to work across all locations to support staff teams, maintain high standards, and ensure continuity of care.
