Salary: £42,500 - 70,500 per year
Requirements: We are looking for experienced Software Engineers to join our team.We need a good understanding of back-end programming languages including Java, C++, Node.JS, Python and C.We are looking for someone with the desire to solve complex technical problems and help our customers achieve their goals.We value an aspiration to learn new skills and improve where possible.Knowledge of cloud engineering such as AWS, Docker and microservices is desirable but not essential.We need the ability to work as part of a team, share knowledge and contribute to our Agile ways of working.Applicants must achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard as a minimum.Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting and typically 5 to 10 years of continuous UK residency depending on the vetting level required. Responsibilities: Design, code, test, correct and document simple programs.Assist in the implementation of software that forms part of a properly engineered information or communications system.Provide accurate estimates of the development effort needed to design, code and test software from given specifications.Focus on data processing.Work on AWS cloud infrastructure.Mentor junior level developers and provide oversight where applicable.Logically analyse code defects and produce timely code fixes.
