Salary: £61,000 - 101,000 per year

Requirements: Proven experience and knowledge of using GOV.UK Prototype Kit, design systems and design patternsProven experience of understanding and ensuring usability, accessibility, and inclusivity, in line with WCAG and GOV.UK design guidelinesPractical experience of working to the Government Service Standard, ideally with service assessment experience across all phasesStrong verbal, written, and facilitation skills, able to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levelsStrong technical literacy, able to understand high-level technical processes, constraints, and conceptsA pragmatic team player with a creative, structured, and logical approach to understanding problems and designing inclusive, human-centred experiencesAppreciation of both business and user needsKeen to develop T-shaped skills and take on new challengesOpen to working in different locations for different clients, with willingness to meet in our London office and travel as client needs dictate Responsibilities: Design simple, intuitive, and accessible digital services that meet user needs and business objectivesTake an end-to-end view of services, creating effective, user-centred interactions across channelsParticipate in user research activities, using qualitative and quantitative evidence to inform design decisions and service improvementsRapidly prototype and test designs using paper, digital, and code-based methodsProduce clear interaction design artefacts, including sketches, user flows, scenarios, wireframes, journey maps, and prototypesCapture and communicate design decisions clearly and confidently, influencing stakeholders and colleagues with a strong evidence baseFacilitate workshops, co-design sessions, and user testing to explore problems, generate ideas, and validate solutionsWork collaboratively within agile, multidisciplinary teams alongside developers, researchers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver effective servicesContribute to design standards and design systems, maintaining consistency across services and interfacesSupport service transformation by improving the efficiency, speed, and usability of public servicesSupport and coach teams and stakeholders in user-centred design and agile ways of workingContribute to internal culture, tools, processes, and capability developmentContribute to the development of the Design practice and the Interaction Design community of practiceMentor, coach, support, and manage colleaguesSupport thought leadership, case studies, and insights showcasing interaction design expertiseContribute to client proposals and presentations to help win new projects Technologies: SupportSecurityUX UI Design More:
