Salary: £42,500 - 70,500 per year
Requirements: We require a bachelors or masters degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.We require at least 4 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer, preferably in trading, finance, or similarly complex environments.We require strong proficiency in modern web frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.We require proven experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Java 17.We consider experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs a plus.We require experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases, including highly available distributed NoSQL data storage platforms such as Ignite.We require the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.We require a strong understanding of the software development life cycle, agile methodologies, and best engineering practices.We require a strong understanding of design patterns in an enterprise environment.We require excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.We prefer prior experience working in trading or financial services technology teams.We prefer knowledge of trading protocols and low-latency systems.We prefer familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools.We prefer experience working with Spring Framework and Spring Boot web services. Responsibilities: We design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and backend services to support trading operations.We collaborate with cross-functional teams including traders, product managers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver solutions.We implement and optimize high-performance APIs, microservices, and data processing pipelines.We ensure best practices in code quality, testing, deployment, and security.We troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the full stack with a focus on reliability and efficiency.We continuously research and adopt new technologies to improve team productivity and system performance.We mentor junior engineers and contribute to a positive, innovative team culture.
