Salary: £61,000 - 101,000 per year
Requirements: Significant commercial experience testing enterprise-level systems, including microservice architectures and web applications.Strong experience in one or more of: TDD/BDD, performance and load testing, security testing, UI and accessibility testing.Experience with data creation and curation and familiarity with DevOps practices and principles.Beneficial experience with AWS services, JUnit, Cucumber, XML/JSON, working with large databases, and tools such as SVN/Git, Ant/Maven, Tomcat, Apache, and Jenkins.Ability to make sound decisions by weighing complex options.Ability to articulate ideas and challenge the status quo.Strong organisation skills, including planning work and tracking progress.Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain technical issues and solutions.Self-starter with problem-solving ability. Responsibilities: Lead development of automated tests, including functional and non-functional tests, to ensure feature quality.Take technical ownership of testing approaches and drive improvements to QA processes and standards.Mentor and transfer knowledge to more junior QA engineers and spread best practice across squads and teams.Ensure software meets or exceeds published metrics and quality benchmarks.Proactively contribute to the technical evolution of our products.Work as one team to ensure deliveries are on time and to a high quality.
