Salary: £61,000 - 101,000 per year
Requirements: Demonstrated professional experience in a regional Network Operations (NetOps) or Network Engineering role.Strong working knowledge of enterprise IT governance, compliance, and ITIL frameworks.Ability to drive complex technical project milestones independently.Capability to align network specialisation with broader enterprise IT and business objectives.Demonstrated success working across multi-regional, cross-functional teams in different time zones.Skill in decomposing enterprise cloud migrations into actionable, resource-allocated project steps.Preferred certifications: CCNA, CompTIA Network, or Aruba Certified Switching Associate (ASCA).Preferred IT service management certification: ITIL Foundation Certification in IT Service Management. Responsibilities: Serve as the primary technical escalation point for the Level 1 Network Operations Center (NOC).Diagnose complex network performance bottlenecks, latency issues, and outages to maintain high availability.Lead remote staging, configuration, and provisioning of branch networking hardware.Provide remote technical leadership to field engineers during physical rack-and-stack, cabling, and patching phases.Implement network designs provided by Global Network Architecture teams.Execute enterprise rollouts for Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN) and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) architecture.Execute lifecycle patching, firmware updates, and vulnerability remediation across all network hardware.Conduct automated and manual configuration audits to ensure compliance with enterprise security baselines.Monitor network telemetry and system health to identify and resolve performance degradation before impact.
